Onsite Confined Space Training

Coblaco Services, along with Hellman & Associates, recently held a confined space rescue training at Coblaco’s Henderson facility. The exercise included the demonstration of gas-level monitoring and confined space emergency rescue protocols.  Coblaco has over 100 linear feet of 30-inch pipe with multiple direction and elevation changes, along with one manhole that terminates into a vertical vault onsite to allow for a hands-on training experience.

The permanent confined space setup is important for two reasons.  It enables all new and existing Coblaco employees to receive required confined-space and extraction training in a hands-on manner, using proper equipment from certified safety professionals.  It also provides Coblaco the opportunity to offer outside companies a place to conduct their own confined-space training.
